A handcrafted pocket notebook for word puzzle enthusiasts, personalized to become an essential companion for crosswords, spelling games, and daily wordplay.

Inspired by the pleasure of daily word puzzles—including those published by The New York Times—this pocket-sized wordkeeper offers a simple place to record unfamiliar, clever, or satisfying words discovered during daily games. Made by hand in our Charlottesville, Va. workshop, this compact 3.5" × 5.5" notebook features a vibrant yellow cover with personalized text, making it both a functional word-collecting tool and a cheerful addition to the puzzle table or bedside.

Thoughtful Construction - Built for portability without sacrificing quality, the Wordkeeper pairs a 350 gsm premium yellow cover stock with a sturdy 60 pt black book board backing. The 5/8" black wire binding allows the notebook to lie flat while writing, and a ¼" black elastic band keeps everything secure between puzzle sessions.

50 Blank Pages - Inside are 50 blank sheets of Mohawk Superfine 80 lb ultrawhite text paper, providing ample space to record words worth remembering for future games and crosswords.

Personalization - Choose from two versions—The Queen Bee or Obscure Words—and add one line of custom text to the cover (such as a name, title, or phrase).

How soon will my order ship?

All of our notebooks are custom made and ship within 3-5 business days of order receipt.

Can I request additional customization on my bespokebook order?

We make every effort to accommodate special requests. Small changes can often be made at no additional charge. Larger changes to cover and page designs and custom orders are quoted based on the scope of work. Email us at hello@littlebspokebooks.com to inquire.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. We currently offer shipping to Canada, the UK, the EU, and Switzerland.

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR INTERNATIONAL ORDERS: Customs duties or VAT may be charged by your country upon delivery. These fees are the responsibility of the recipient.

How are the notebooks packaged?

Our journals dress for travel. Every bespokebook is carefully wrapped in tissue and packaged securely for shipping. Our standard packaging is gift-ready – no additional wrapping is needed.

Can I send this as a gift?

Absolutely! Our journals arrive beautifully packaged and ready to gift. Just use the Special Instructions at checkout to let us know it's a gift, and we'll exclude pricing from the packing slip. You can also include a gift message.

What is your return policy?

Because our notebooks are custom made and personalized, they are not returnable. Please be sure to check your personalization instructions carefully. In the event of a personalization error on our part, we will offer a speedy replacement at no charge or a refund.
