Personalized chess scorebook with tournament-style notation pages for recording games and moves, designed for serious chess players and study of the game.

The Chess Scorebook is built for serious play. A tournament-inspired companion for recording each match with precision and clarity, made to order in our Charlottesville, Va. workshop. Each scorebook features a personalized cover and thoughtful construction—small enough to not crowd one's space, yet comprehensive enough to capture every move.

Thoughtful Construction - The Chess Scorebook pairs a 22 pt kraft cover with a sturdy 60 pt black book board backing. Premium ¾" antique bronze wire binding allows the book to lie completely flat during play, and a ½" black elastic band keeps everything secure between matches.

50 Scorecards - Inside, a printed reference board with coordinates faces an index page for logging dates, players, and results. Fifty scorecards printed on premium 70 lb paper are formatted for algebraic notation with numbered lines for fifty moves per side, result checkboxes, and signature fields used in professional tournament settings to confirm accuracy. Each scorecard's reverse side includes lined space for game analysis or notes.

Personalization - The Chess Scorebook can be personalized with up to two lines of text (26 characters per line, including spaces) in all-caps Futura. Perfect for player names, club affiliations, or custom messages that make the scorebook unique.

How soon will my order ship?

All of our notebooks are custom made and ship within 3-5 business days of order receipt.

Can I request additional customization on my bespokebook order?

We make every effort to accommodate special requests. Small changes can often be made at no additional charge. Larger changes to cover and page designs and custom orders are quoted based on the scope of work. Email us at hello@littlebspokebooks.com to inquire.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. We currently offer shipping to Canada, the UK, the EU, and Switzerland.

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR INTERNATIONAL ORDERS: Customs duties or VAT may be charged by your country upon delivery. These fees are the responsibility of the recipient.

How are the notebooks packaged?

Our journals dress for travel. Every bespokebook is carefully wrapped in tissue and packaged securely for shipping. Our standard packaging is gift-ready – no additional wrapping is needed.

Can I send this as a gift?

Absolutely! Our journals arrive beautifully packaged and ready to gift. Just use the Special Instructions at checkout to let us know it's a gift, and we'll exclude pricing from the packing slip. You can also include a gift message.

What is your return policy?

Because our notebooks are custom made and personalized, they are not returnable. Please be sure to check your personalization instructions carefully. In the event of a personalization error on our part, we will offer a speedy replacement at no charge or a refund.
